DRUG CLAIM:

For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle and dairy and beef replacement heifers).For the control of coccidiosis caused by Elmeria bovis and Elmeria zuernii in cattle up to 800 lb.

Increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle:
Thoroughly mix the following levels of SWEETLIX® 14:4 B-1440 Mineral with non-medicated feed to provide the desired intake of lasalocid per head per day. Cattle should receive no less than 60 mg nor more than 300 mg lasalocid per head per day in not less than 1 lb. of feed for the stated drug claim.

INDICATIONS FOR USE: Intake of lasalocid in excess of 200 mg/head/day have not been shown to be more effective than 200 mg/head/day.

Continuous Feeding
Coccidiosis control in cattle:
Thoroughly mix 417 lbs of SWEETLIX® 14:4 B-1440 Mineral with 1,583 lbs of non-medicated feed. Feed the medicated mixture according to the table below based on cattle weight up to 800 lbs. Cattle should receive 1 mg lasalocid per 2.2 lbs. body weight per day for the stated drug claim. Do not feed more than 360 mg lasalocid per head per day. Feed daily in not less than 1 lb. of feed.

Coccidiosis may occur when young pasture cattle are comingled with adult cattle passing coccidial oocysts.

Provide fresh, clean water to all animals at all times.

WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating cattle. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

CAUTION: USE AS DIRECTED. The safety of lasalocid for use in unapproved species has not been established. Do not allow horses or other equines access to feeds containing lasalocid as ingestion may be fatal. Mix thoroughly with grain and/or roughage prior to feeding. Feeding undiluted or mixing errors may result in an excess concentrations of lasalocid could be fatal to cattle and sheep. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head per day. Eight (8) ounces of this product provides 3 mg selenium.

WARNING: This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any speices with a low tolerance to supplemental copper.
