For reduction of liver condemnations due to liver abscesses; for control of bacterial pneumonia associated with shipping fever complex caused by Pasteurella spp. susceptible to chlortetracycline; for control of active infection of anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma marginale susceptible to chlortetracycline in beef cattle up to 1,000 lbs.


VMS® CTC-4000 MINERAL should be thoroughly mixed with non-medicated grain or roughages at the rates indicated below to form a medicated feed.

For anaplasmosis control: Cattle 700 to 1,000 lb should receive 0.5 mg CTC per pound of bodyweight per day; thus a 1,000 lb cow would require 500 mg. Cattle under 700 lb should receive 350 mg CTC per head per day for the stated drug claim.

For bacterial pneumonia control: Beef cattle should receive 350 mg CTC per head per day for the stated drug claim.

For reduction of liver condemnations: Growing cattle over 400 lb should receive 70 mg CTC per head per day for the stated drug claim.

Provide clean, fresh water to all animals at all times.
WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.

CAUTION: Use as directed. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg daily. 

WARNING: This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species with a low tolerance to supplemental copper.
