CAUTION: Federal law restricts medicated feed containing this veterinary feed directive (VFD) drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

For control of active infection of anaplasmosis caused by Anaplasma marginale susceptible to chlortetracycline and for control of bacterial pneumonia associated with shipping fever complex caused by Pastuerella spp. susceptible to chlortetracycline in beef cattle.

Feeding Instructions

CAUTION: USE AS DIRECTED. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head daily. 

WARNING: A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves. Do not use in calves to be processed for veal.  This product, which contains added copper, should not be fed to sheep or any species that have a low tolerance to supplemental copper.

Feeding and Management
For control of anaplasmosis in cattle over 700 lbs: Thoroughly mix 500 lbs. of SWEETLIX 6% CopperHead CTC with 1,500 lbs of non-medicated feed. Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to provide 500 mg CTC per head daily.  Cattle should receive 0.5 mg CTC per lb. of bodyweight per day for the stated drug claim. 500 mg CTC is the recommended rate to treat a 1000-lb animal.

For control of anaplasmosis in cattle under 700 lbs:  Thoroughly mix 350 lbs. of SWEETLIX 6% CopperHead CTC with 1,650 lbs of non-medicated feed.  Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to provide 350 mg CTC per head daily.  Cattle under 700 lbs should receive 350 mg CTC for the stated drug claim.

For control of bacterial pneumonia in beef cattle: Thoroughly mix 350 lbs. of SWEETLIX 6% CopperHead CTC with 1,650 lbs of non-medicated feed. Feed one pound of this medicated mixture to provide 350 mg CTC per head daily. Cattle should receive 350 mg CTC for the stated drug claim.
