Product #77735

Classic Cow-Calf Shade ClariFly®

Product number: 77735

Product Information

The Sweetlix Classic Cow-Calf family of minerals is formulated to maximize the performance of beef cows and heifers on forage-based diets. Most of the Classic Cow-Calf minerals are fortified at 6% phosphorus with 150% of NRC requirements of trace minerals and vitamins, plus superior weatherability (RainBloc®) and palatability. This version of Classic Cow-Calf contains the additives Shade and ClariFly®. These help alleviate heat stress in cattle during the summer months while providing the performance improvement of fly control.

Feeding Instructions

When used as directed, SWEETLIX® Classic Cow-Calf Shade ClariFly® with RainBloc® provides sufficient diflubenzuron insect growth regulator to prevent the emergence of adult horn flies, stable flies, face flies, and house flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult flies will not be affected. Start feeding before flies appear and continue use until cold weather marks the end of the fly season. Use SWEETLIX® Classic Cow-Calf Shade ClariFly® with RainBloc® as part of a fly control program aimed at reducing fly populations. House and stable flies can develop in decaying vegetable matter or spilled silage on premises in the cattle’s environment. Good sanitation practices, such as cleaning up spilled feed and preventing manure build-up around barns and fences or under feed bunks, will eliminate additional breeding sites for these flies.
