Feeding Instructions

CAUTION: USE AS DIRECTED. Consumption of selenium should not exceed 3 mg per head daily.

IMPORTANT: This product must not be fed to animals without adequate pasture and/or adequate roughage. These blocks are not intended as the sole source of feed for cattle.

Feeding Recommendations:

SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block is formulated to be fed free-choice to pasture cattle to provide 10-20 mg bambermycins per head daily. Pasture should be adequate to assure that the maximum consumption of the block supplement will not exceed 5.3 oz. per head per day (which provides 20 mg bambermycins).

To establish the required block consumption, it is essential that the cattle and feed management practices are adapted to SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block for a 14 day period prior to introduction of medicated blocks. Adaptation may be considered established when the cattle's intake of the un-medicated block reaches the required SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block consumption rate. Failure to practice feed adaptation may result in unsatisfactory herd intake of blocks, and thus, inadequate or excessive drug intake.

Feed SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block as the sole source of salt. If cattle are over consuming this product, providing salt or mineral may help reduce consumption.

SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block should not be fed in areas where high salt or alkalinity have been identified in the water or soil.

Locate SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block near where catlte congregate, such as watering and loafing areas. Feed at a rate of one (1) block for every 20 head of cattle. When the individual block is 4/5 consumed, add an additional block.

Cattle must consume 2.7 to 5.3 oz. per head daily of the SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block to receive 10 - 20 mg of bambermycins intended.

It is essential that good block husbandry practices be followed at all times. Access to the intake of SWEETLIX GAINPRO Block may be affected during or directly after rain or dew, freezing conditions and/or change of pasture.

Variations in cattle routine behavior may change their block consumption pattern and watering habits. Relocate blocks immediately as necessary.
