Kowpoke High Mag ClariFly®

Product number: 77628

Product Information

The SWEETLIX® Kowpoke family of minerals is formulated to provide supplemental minerals and vitamins to beef cows and heifers on grass in a cost-effective package. All Kowpoke formulas are fully weatherized with RainBloc® and have superior palatability. This formula is 14% magnesium, to aid in the prevention of grass tetany in cattle grazing lush, rapidly growing forages. It also contains the insect growth regulator ClariFly®, which helps prevent the development of four species of fly larvae to decrease the fly population on cattle and improve performance.

Feeding Instructions

A nutritional supplement containing Diflubenzuron Insect Growth Regulator for continuous feeding to cattle through the fly season. Prevents the emergence of horn flies, face flies, house flies, and stable flies from manure of treated cattle.

When used as directed, SWEETLIX® Kowpoke High Mag ClariFly® with RainBloc® provides sufficient diflubenzuron insect growth regulator to prevent the emergence of adult horn flies, stable flies, face flies, and house flies from manure of treated cattle. Existing adult flies will not be affected. Start feeding before flies appear and continue use until cold weather marks the end of the fly season. Use SWEETLIX® Kowpoke High Mag ClariFly® with RainBloc® as part of a fly control program aimed at reducing fly populations. House and stable flies can develop in decaying vegetable matter or spilled silage on premises in the cattle’s environment. Good sanitation practices, such as cleaning up spilled feed and preventing manure build-up around barns and fences or under feed bunks, will eliminate additional breeding sites for these flies.
